It is a new year and we are looking forward to this years show.

Last years show was amazing. You can all look through the posts to see what we had to offer. We met many talented artists and hope to see them all again.

Now it is time to start working on this years show. We have sent out the artist applications and food vendor applications. Once artists are accepted we will begin to post photos of what is to come. If you are an artist and are interested in an application please feel free to request an application through email. our email address is frenchlickart@yahoo.com

Please be sure to check back often to see how the show is moving along. French Lick Art Guild and the town of French Lick thank all of you who attended and participated in last years show.

Many artists shared their talent with all at the show.

people stopped, watched and asked questions along the way.

There were so many smiles. It was a good time for people of all ages.

A wide range of talent. Something for everyone.

Even items to make the birds in your garden happy.

What a great year.

The children enjoyed the face painting the most.

It was hard not to smile with all the lovely little painted faces running around.

Innkeeper and Indiana artist and instructor, Vesta Seville, is internationally known for her unique style of impressionistic plein air paintings. A variety of art workshops are conducted on a regularly scheduled basis and includes such topics as basic figure drawing, introduction to art, drawing, shading and perspective, painting in watercolor or oils.

Stephen G. Bowman, the founder of the Bedford College of Lace Making, studied art at Purdue University. While attending Purdue, Stephen learned to crochet from his maternal grandmother, Virginia Ray, and his love of lacemaking was born. Stephen became an avid lacemaker, mastering tatting, bobbin lace, lace knitting, filet netting, lucet and pulled and drawn thread lacemaking as well as crochet. Stephen loves to make lace and teach anyone interested in learning to make lace the old fashioned way...by hand.
